We have a portable crazy golf game for your event. It’s ideal for weddings, parties, corporate and fund raising days. All it needs is a flat area of grass for us to set up the holes and flags. You can play 9 one way and the back 9 the other way giving you 18 holes if you wish to play a longer game and depending on how many players you have on the course.
It consists of the following items:

20 adult putters
50 low bounce balls
Score cards & Clipboards
All you need to supply is maybe a prize at the end of the game for the winner with the least strokes to each hole
We were back at Millbrook estate celebrating an intimate wedding of 20 for David and Karen last week. They held their reception at the Retreat which is our most favourite places to dress as it’s a hidden gem near two lakes surrounded by trees and only round the corner from us. It’s a blank canvas with so many options. Our couple chose to have a barn dance on the grass for their guests and booked a local band and caller to ensure their feet weren’t all entangled.
Photos below are how we dressed the Retreat with ribbons, roses, netting and ivy. David and Karen also chose to have our vintage ladder and crates with our display items, and the Retreat was internally dressed with bunting, hearts and our jugs full of flowers. We added small jars with battery operated tealights and large hurricane lamps with candles for the evening.

Rustic Vintage Country Wedding

The Mall in London, will be the setting for it’s largest street party to mark The Queen’s 90th birthday and to recognise her patronage of more than 600 charities and organisations worldwide. There will be 10,000 guests, including the Queen herself.
The event is ticketed, and most of them have been allocated to all the charities and organisations to which Her Majesty the Queen is Patron, but we can still enjoy our own festivals by organising a party of our own. It doesn’t matter where you are why not get involved.
Local events and street parties are taking place on June 12th. Why not bring your street, road, community or village together and enjoy a fun afternoon. Whether small or large you too can play a part.

Over the years we have been catering we have produced many different types of traditional cakes, however our most popular has been a three tiered fruit and fresh cream cake
Traditionally these were called courting cakes, the story goes that it is more a victoria sandwich on the top and and a shortbread on the bottom. There are many variations, but traditionally they are filled with slightly over-ripe strawberries or raspberries and fresh whipped cream
We produce them for weddings of 6 or less when a traditional cake isn’t always required or our clients don’t want a cake full of buttercream.
These cakes are delightful and the above image is our version, three layers, the one below is three layers again with a mix of raspberries and strawberries used as a wedding cake. If you would like two layers one with shortcake the other sponge please let us know. We need about 2 weeks notice.
If you are looking to hire vintage crates for your event we have them available, they are very versatile and great for making displays. Here are some ideas below:
Delivery charges are additional and based on distance to travel to delivery and collect, but we can delivery to certain areas out of Devon, such as Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall. Please ask for a quote. All the props in the above photos are available from us, except the flowers!
We have 100 champagne flutes available to hire. We can also provide the right amount of prosecco for a toast and the edible flowers seen in the photo below. Hiring is easy, you tell us how many you need and we bring them. There is no need to wash them at the end of the day as we do all this for you. Just empty them and pack them back into the boxes they arrive in.

If you are wanting to offer your guests a cold drink then why not hire our Kilner Drinks Dispensers. We have two identical, one slightly smaller and a more modern variety. Each one will hold 20 litres of fluid. For smaller parties we can also rent you up to 3o jam jars and bring along straws, but for larger weddings we can hire you hi-ball glasses.
