Are you looking for something unique as a wedding or guest favour?
Imagine lighting candles on your tables and once the wax begins to melt the scents slowly drift around the room filling it with your favourite scent. On each place setting there is a lovely votive candle in a glass with the same scent as your candles as a gift so your guests will remember your special day in a different unique way. I am sure you can recall something from memory from a scent? Perhaps your favourite perfume reminds you of when you first bought or wore it, maybe the smell of coconut reminds you of that beach holiday in the sun? The smell of Prosecco & Mojitos reminds you of your hen night!! When your guests light their candle at home they will remember your special day for some time to come.
We produce hand poured bespoke candles with our sister company ‘Escape to…..’ We have over 100 different scents that can transport you to another place and time, or in this instance you and your guests back to your special day. We can create something absolutely amazing for your wedding, anniversary or party.
If you’d like candles then we need to get to work together on this as early as possible as they need time to cure so their scents make the biggest impact. Have a think about scents that you like, we have the following categories:
Choose 2-3 of the above categories that you like the most, however they do cross over each other so we will have plenty to work with.
All our candles are made from Eco Soya wax so no nasties such as paraffin. Our fragrances are all safe, vegan and don’t contain anything nasty either. Many candles on the high street contain paraffin which can cause breathing and irration issues! They all come with a legal safety warning labels and you can choose how to decorate it yourself or we can produce pretty labels with names and dates on and perhaps a pretty organza bag and tag. Table candles have a burn time from 30 hours depending on their size and the votive candles from about 15 hours. Our minimum order for votive candles is 50, but we can produce less if you are purchasing larger table candles at the same time.

With just less than 2 weeks to go until the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markal, we in the UK are very good at our celebratory garden and street parties. So if you are planning something whether just as the family or maybe a larger event here are some inspirational ideas of a British kind…..
Food:
You can really serve what ever you wish to, but we do like tea and cakes, strawberries and cream and if you are lucky to be able to get hold of our delicious Devon or Cornish Clotted cream then these are a must have on scones….plain scones too with Jam! Living in Devon I go for the Devon way of serving them, the correct way!!!
Drinks:
Party drinks should be cool and refreshing and in hot weather you definitely something hydrating, non-alcoholic and suitable for the kids too!
There’s some super ideas out there from prosecco to gin to specialist beers and ciders. AND, of course, tea. You can’t have a party without tea!
Games:
Kids get bored easily, so do some adults, so having a few games available is great. You can hire them from companies like us, or make your own for a few quid. Sack races, Twister, Pin the Tail, Water Balloons, Giant Hoola Hoops, and on it goes. We supply golf games which are great fun for both adult and kids.
Evening:
As the sun goes down and it starts to get a little cooler and darker don’t forget the midges! Annoying as they are, make sure you have a few citronella candles which will help combat them.
Wasps!:
Probably the most annoying thing about an outdoor party, especially in the highest month for wasp activity in the UK, August……So, grab those spare jam jars that you didn’t use for candle making and outside lights, and fill with a little jam or some beer, they either eat or drink themselves to death as very happy wasps!

You can have your gorgeous cream tea with lashings of clotted cream and jam and then go on to have some fun with an Ann Summers party.

DELIVERY:
Prices quoted above are as a package and hire terms are for a maximum of 3 days, for example we deliver the day before your event and collect the day after. Delivery charges are subject to availability and distance from our base in North Devon. When enquiring please let us know where your venue is so we can ensure you are quoted the best possible price. We also deliver and collect on Sundays and bank holidays at no extra charge!
We can hire out bunting all over the South West from Bristol down to Cornwall. We have meters and can make more if required depending on your colour scheme.
We have country style single flag ideal for marquees.
Heavier weight for round top tables in vintage, shabby chic styles and colours.
Union Jack Flags for any 1940s event or even a street party to celebrate being British.
If you are hiring a marquee check the size with the hire company or venue owner and contact us with the measurements we will work out how much you need and how much it will cost. Here’s some photos for inspiration:
Bunting and Bickets
If you are local to Devon you can collect at your own expense or we can post them to you. Hire terms are for 3 days and need to be signed for on arrival, we supply a return bag with our label, but you will need to pay for the insurance and recorded delivery costs on the day of return or deliver them back to us on the Monday after your event. Any additional days will be charged for. If any of the bunting is damaged on return you will be charged for this at the cost of replacement.
We have a portable crazy golf game for your event. It’s ideal for weddings, parties, corporate and fund raising days. All it needs is a flat area of grass for us to set up the holes and flags. You can play 9 one way and the back 9 the other way giving you 18 holes if you wish to play a longer game and depending on how many players you have on the course.
It consists of the following items:

All you need to supply is maybe a prize at the end of the game for the winner with the least strokes to each hole
